Wolfy & the Jet d'eau | Resin Figurine | Fine Art Collection
|LIMITED EDITION||500 PIECES|
Raised by Lily in the Swiss mountains, Wolfy is a young wolf with a passion for gold bars. When he left the mountains on his first trip, he discovered the city and was amazed by the treasures he found there. Determined to conquer this new world, he quickly figured out how to achieve his goal and entered the world of banking. It only took him a few years to reach the top of the Swiss financial elite. Having accumulated an immeasurable fortune, he is now the mascot of Swiss bankers!
To celebrate his success, Wolfy decided to make a gift to the city of Geneva: he built an enormous water jet on the edge of the lake that could be seen from far and wide! Its white plume rises to a height of 140 meters and reminds everyone that, with willpower, anyone can rise to greatness!
According to less credible sources, the first water jet on the lake of Geneva was created for a purely utilitarian purpose at the end of the 19th century, in order to manage the overpressure which occurred on the water network when consumption dropped every evening as factories closed. Due to the success of this improvised show, the city authorities decided to move it to the quai des Eaux-vives and to increase the water pressure in order to make the jet permanent and increase its height.
